Precautions

Do NOT stop taking this medicine without first talking to your doctor. Stopping this medicine abruptly can cause complications, especially in patients with coronary artery disease. This medicine can cause dizziness or drowsiness. Exercise caution when driving or performing other tasks that require your full attention. If you have asthma you should talk to your doctor before taking beta-blockers. Side effects

Side effects: headache, dizziness (in the 5 to 11 % range), cough, low blood pressure, fatigue, low incidence of impotence, ringing of the ears {tinnitus}, arthralgia.
